What Being a Member
BCU is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to promote understanding and appreciation for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for every citizen of Blount County.
Help us make a difference! Across the country, people of good will are standing up and taking action to promote diversity, equality, and inclusion in order to build stronger communities. Formed in 2014, BCU provides a vehicle for people in our community to advocate for meaningful change. Join us in this task, there is much that you can do in your home, on your job, in our schools, and in our neighborhoods. Your contributions to the work of social justice and change can make a real difference. So, contribute…your time, your talent, your energy, your skills, and your finances. There is much to do, and you can help us do it!
